Missionary Partners Foundation in Costa Rica

A Faith and Prayers Ministry

Promises and more promises!

I also tell you this–if two of you agree down here on earth concerning anything  you ask for, my  Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together because they are mine, I will be right there among them.  (Matthew 18:19, 20)The Living Bible

Jesus makes such grand sweeping promises!

Reading His life story in the Gospels you see with what naturalness He could hold the masses for hours on end totally captivated by His words.

Then came the Promises with which He punctuated those teaching sessions–they were like concentrated nuggets packed with undeniable authority!  Jesus had such a convincing way of planting seeds of acceptance in the hearts and minds of folks!

Penny Molina

July 31, 1991 to August 19, 2011

The Missionary Partners family in Costa Rica was greatly saddened by the recent passing of Penny Molina.

Penny succumbed to cancer at the tender age of 20.  This sweet young
lady will be greatly missed by many.

Penny’s father is a district pastor and her mother is the principal at the Autumn Miller School to which many children that receive help from Missionary Partners attend.

We all look forward with longing and great anticipation to that day when Jesus will come and put an end to all the suffering, pain and death in this old world.

We look forward to seeing Penny again on that glorious day, once again in the full vigor of youth.

Come soon and very soon Lord Jesus, come!

I just want to say: “Thank you!”

Oh, put God to the test and see how kind He is!  See for yourself the way His mercies shower down on all who trust in him.  Psalms 34:8.

Thank you Partners for your kind donations sent in July.  Those funds were transferred by wire to our Foundation at the beginning of August.

We are grateful to Tom Amos, the treasurer of the church in Avon Park, Florida, for all his helpful work forwarding the donations to us.  It only takes a day or two after our local bank posts the credits until the distribution is made to the various families, students, and schools.

Always Remember to Help the Poor

The Living Bible: The only thing they did suggest was that we must always remember to help the poor, and I, too, was eager for that. (Galatians 2:10)

Dear Missionary Partners

Paul  has been at his missionary ministry for the better part of 20 years.  Now, he arrives in Jerusalem and looks up the great leaders of the church.

“By the way, their being great leaders made no difference to me”, he wrote, “for all are the same to  God.”

Peter, James, and John were frankly thrilled to see Paul and get first-hand information about the powerful Spirit-guided work going on among non-Jewish foreigners.  Paul was also overjoyed to learn about the thousands of Jews coming to Christ as a result especially of Peter’s preaching.

Praying for $42,675!

Who can forget the wonders he performs—deeds of mercy and of grace?  He gives food to those who trust him; he never forgets his promises.  Psalms 111:4, 5.

This month we present a summary of many of the most urgent needs that still remain unmet this year.
